System development for a Net Zero future: keen, green and secure
An Online Technical Webinar
Wednesday 13th January 2021 | 12.30 to 13:30
The decarbonisation of the electricity network is accelerating and changes are happening at pace in government policy, regulation and technology. This is against the backdrop of increasing cost efficiency pressures and the ability to secure the network under a wider range of uncertain and extreme conditions. There is a substantial body of work progressing within C1 to understand and address the international challenges and opportunities presented, from network planning, investment and asset management perspectives.
This webinar will present insights from recent and ongoing work in Study Committee C1 including power system planning and investment with increasing DER and uncertainty, tools and methods to support this and consideration of whole system and multi-vector interactions.
