
The CIGRE UK’s Universities of London Hub is pleased to announce a knowledge-sharing event on Power Systems Operation, Protection and Control kindly hosted by the Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering at Imperial College London. This one-day forum will convene leading academics, researchers, and industry practitioners to exchange perspectives on the challenges and innovations shaping the future of power systems.
The programme will focus on three thematic areas of critical importance:
• Inverter-Based Resource (IBR) Related Power System Control and Stability
• Protection and Control Strategies in Power Systems
• Emerging Electricity Markets, Flexibility Services, and Economics
In addition to technical presentations, the event will feature an interactive panel debate designed to bridge the gap between research and deployment, providing a platform for informed discussion and collaboration across academia and industry.
