| The Opportunity |
CIGRE’s primary purpose is to allow engineers, specialists and thought leaders from all around the world to exchange information and enhance their knowledge related to power systems. This call is an opportunity to participate in CIGRE UK’s Monthly Technical Webinar Programme, open to all our members.
| How it works |
CIGRE UK holds monthly online webinars to showcase technical activities undertaken by its members (Individual and Collective) and invited industry contributors, in the field of Power Systems (end-to-end). You can submitting an application for consideration by providing the following:-
- Title of the proposed presentation
- A short synopsis of the presentation (up to 300 words)
- A short (150 words) biography of the presenter(s)
- A head/shoulders photograph of the presenter(s)
The webinars take place on a Wednesday in each month and run for 60 minutes (40 minutes of presentation, supported by PowerPoint, and 20 minutes for Q&A). Please note that it is essential that the technical content of any presentation be ‘non-commercial’ and meetings follow CIGRE’s compliance guidelines (see the button below).
We do allow one slide to introduce an organisation, its purpose and involvement in the technical presentation and another to introduce the presenter(s). If the presentation relates to a CIGRE working group activity then the standard CIGRE template can be used, otherwise the presentation material should use an organisation’s logo sparingly.
