2008 saw first NGN event to be held at the CIGRE Session in Paris.
The NGN’s presence at the Session included involvement from:
- CIGRE-UK NGN members (in 2008).
- Jean Kowel to ‘officially open’ NGN exhibition booth.
- Selected CIGRE-UK members as members of Paper/Poster selection committee.
The Paris Session 2008 offered a chance for NGN members to take part in one of the best technical conferences, was an excellent opportunity to demonstrate to CIGRE what the NGN members are able to bring to the organisation, and promoted CIGRE-UK NGN activities & developments to introduce the idea of having an International NGN Event in 2010.
