Webinar Platform

CIGRE UK holds regular online events that are rich in content aimed at attracting an audience primarily of members of its national association.  Membership includes corporates1, individuals, academia2, special interest groups, and government.  Events will be promoted to encourage members from CIGRE’s global community to also attend. CIGRE UK’s online events typically attract 200+ registrations and 100+ connections on the day.

CIGRE UK is asking for sponsorship donations of £1000 per event (joint sponsorship applications up to this amount may be considered).

In return, the sponsoring company will be recognised on all event promotional material and its company logo will be featured on: –

  • The CIGRE UK website home page and a dedicated event page
  • The event on-line registration page (Eventbrite platform)
  • The CIGRE UK monthly newsletter (1000+ circulation)
  • In specific event mailings (1000+ circulation)
  • In Social Media postings (1750+ LinkedIn followers)
  • Posting of the event on CIGRE’s global event calendar (accessible to 15,000+ members)
  • Posting on CIGRE’s global KMS (6000+ worldwide users)
  • On the day of the event

CIGRE UK will also provide event marketing collateral to allow the sponsor to communicate the event to its network. There is also the potential, if appropriate, to invite the sponsor to speak and/or join a panel session.

The events are normally delivered on the CISCO WebEx Events platform, however other platforms such as Zoom and MS Teams are available if decided more appropriate.

Please note that CIGRE UK managed/branded events will be facilitated by CIGRE UK and that all event content must be non-commercial (no specific proprietary technologies or solutions are allowed to be promoted, discussed or endorsed).  Also, due to GDPR compliance, CIGRE UK cannot share contact data for the participants of an event with the sponsor (with the exception of the name of attendee, title, and company).
