Join us for an immersive and insightful conference, HVDC at Scale: From Projects to Systems, kindly hosted by ARUP, where industry leaders and experts supporting these developments come together to explore the future of HVDC transmission.
As an unprecedented scale of HVDC projects now move into delivery across GB and between GB and other countries, this session is an opportunity both to reflect on those achievements to date and consider what the future beyond these could be from the mid-2030s onwards. A range of HVDC technology innovations are underway, with increasing capabilities supporting the security and resilience of the transmission systems. So, what might be next? Are we on the cusp of interoperable DC transmission systems across the North Sea supporting GB energy transition into the future?
