CIGRE is investing in innovation and expertise for the future of power systems. Introducing the CIGRE Innovation & Education Fund, a worldwide programme providing grants for research, scholarships and educational initiatives for the energy transition, and more.
The Goal
We will fund projects and programs to advance the global future for the energy transition and the emergence of electricity in every facet of society.
Supporting projects, programmes and knowledge that advance the power system for the future
The Funds scope includes research and development, graduate scholarships, educational initiatives, STEM engagement, and humanitarian actions aimed at enabling sustainable electricity for underserved communities. Diversity of topics and geographic balance will guide funding decisions over time. In line with CIGRE’s values, the Fund will remain technically neutral and apolitical.
