About this Technical Webinar:

Synopsis | As the power industry evolves towards Net Zero, the significance of Online Dissolved Gas Analysis (DGA) in maintaining transformer health and ensuring its reliability has never been more crucial. With the increasing integration of intermittent renewable energy and increasing electricity demand, the need for timely and accurate diagnostics of faults occurring in power transformers is paramount. Online DGA provides continuous monitoring of transformers, detecting key gases and their changing trends that indicate different thermal and electrical faults. This proactive approach enhances early fault detection, and contributes to the prevention of unplanned outages. The webinar will delve into the benefits and significance of online DGA technique through case studies. In addition, the webinar will cover the recent activities of the CIGRE A2.D1.67 Working Group, with a focus on developing effective alarm response strategies.
