Purpose of CIGRE UK Outstanding Contribution Awards
The CIGRE UK Outstanding Contribution or Achievement Awards are made to CIGRE UK members in recognition of contributions made to CIGRE UK or/and CIGRE in the development of the objectives and mission of CIGRE UK. The existing call for nominations has been extended until 31st July 2025.
Recognition can be for technical, membership, organisational development and promotion of CIGRE UK/CIGRE and for services provided to CIGRE UK members. The CIGRE UK Outstanding Contribution Award is made by CIGRE UK and is an additional recognition to any existing and potential future awards made by CIGRE itself.
This year we are seeking nominations in 4 categories: Collective Member Organisation, Individual Member, NGN community member, Women in Energy community member (please see the table below).
Award winners will be invited to attend the CIGRE UK AGM and awards dinner on Wednesday19th November 2025 at the IET Austin Court Birmingham.
